At Yoga Wellness Center (YWC), we are deeply committed to the practical and theoretical dimensions of yoga. Our approach is rooted in the traditional wisdom of yoga while being designed to meet the evolving needs of contemporary practitioners, teachers and wellness professionals.

​​

YWC is an accredited Yoga Therapy Centre and Yoga Training Centre under the Yoga Certification Board (YCB), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

​​

We are also an accredited Yoga Training Centre under Karnataka Samskrit University, Government of Karnataka, and are associated with Fit India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and the Indian Yoga Association.

OUR TEACHER TRAINING COURSE

 

YWC offers comprehensive yoga education through structured programs that support both professional development and personal growth.

​

Our programs include:

  1. 200-Hour Yoga Protocol Instructor (YPI) Course
     

  2. 400-Hour Yoga Wellness Instructor (YWI) Course
     

  3. 800-Hour Yoga Therapist (YTh) Course
     

  4. One-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Science​

 

These programs are designed to progressively develop a student's understanding of yoga—from personal practice and foundational knowledge to teaching, wellness and therapeutic applications.

Programs are structured around weekday and weekend learning, allowing participants to pursue their yoga education alongside their professional, academic and personal commitments.

​

WEEKDAY PRACTICAL TRAINING
 

From Monday to Friday, students can attend practical APMB sessions at: 6 AM, 7.10 AM and 6 PM

Students may choose sessions according to their convenience. The morning sessions focus primarily on regular asana and pranayama practices, while the evening sessions focus on yoga therapy.

​​

These regular practical sessions provide students with the opportunity to develop a consistent personal practice while deepening their understanding and application of yogic principles.

​

INTENSIVE WEEKEND TRAINING

 

Weekends provide an intensive learning environment combining practical experience, teaching skills and theoretical understanding.

​

Saturday

The day begins with APMB, Meditation and Yoga Nidra from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, followed by two theory sessions of 90 minutes each.

 

Sunday

Sunday practical session begin at 8.30 AM to 10 AM focus on developing teaching and therapeutic skills, followed by two theory sessions of 90 minutes each.

This combination of regular weekday practice and intensive weekend learning enables students to progressively integrate theory, practice and teaching.

​​

A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH TO YOGA EDUCATION

​

Our teacher training program encompasses a broad range of yogic practices and disciplines essential for a well-rounded yoga teacher.

​

The curriculum includes:

  • Hatha Yoga, Meditation and Yoga Nidra

  • Yogic philosophy and principles

  • Teaching methodology

  • Human Physiology, Yoga Physiology and Yoga therapy

  • Practical application of yoga

 

TRADITION MEETS PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Our training draws upon the vast traditional knowledge of yoga while incorporating the academic and professional frameworks of recognised yoga education systems.

​

The program draws from the syllabi and learning frameworks associated with:

​

  • Yoga Certification Board (YCB) — Yoga Protocol Instructor and Yoga Therapist programs
     

  • Karnataka Samskrit University — Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Science

Ayurvedic Proverb

Everyone who seeks a wholistic understanding of diet and nutrition based on the principles of Ayurveda and Yoga are welcome to join the course. It is especially useful for Yoga teachers, dieticians and home makers.

2nd Aug (Sunday): Individual prakriti test

9th Aug (Sunday): Fundamental theory of Yogic and Ayurvedic approach to food

​

16th Aug (Sunday):  Food habits according to prakriti, different conditions, season and daily routine

​

23 Aug (Sunday): Health management through food. Writing a diet chart.

​

30th Aug (Sunday): Miscellaneous (modern approach, use of supplement etc.)
